VistaMar (Ocean view) is an Eco Residence Resort Project designed tolive in harmony with nature. The project’s 132 hectares are located ina plateau in Hacienda Vieja, Orotina, 30 kms west of San Jose and 3 kmsof Coast way Highway. Its elevation of 660 mts above sea level, similarto that of Atenas, is considered by the National Geographic Society asthe best climate of the world. It has access to the best beaches of thePacific area. The Project will communicate with San Jose through thenew Ciudad Colon-Orotina highway, entering by Hacienda Vieja, Orotina.
The first stage consists of 124 lots which are duly registered asstand-alone properties and are not under any constraining regulation.As of November 2008, 63 lots have been already sold. The second stagewill be six gated communities with 146 additional lots.
The project has a series of rules to regulate the constructions.
Roads are made of concrete pavers and culverts are made of solid rocks.

These properties may double at least their value by the completion of the Orotina-Ciudad Colon highway (by year 2010).
This project has all permits from environment regulating bodies as well as from the County are in order.
