De-Clutter. Keeping clutter away makes the room look more spacious. This is almost a common sense thing but many forget about this. Keep the important things within reach and keep the non important stuff away. Better yet, donate some of them or make money out of it (garage sale or yard sale will do).
Clear Pathways. For a limited space apartment, more often than not, you will face some pathway obstruction or obstacles. The key here is to create a good plan, better yet make a floor plan for your furniture placement to get a good look where to place things at and avoid pathway clog.
Natural Light Matters. Having a good natural light passing through your window inside your room matters. 1st, it affects your mood, 2nd, it can make you save energy and 3rd it can lit up your room that makes it appear larger that it is. Dark rooms appear smaller while well lighted ones appear bigger.
Invest In Storage. Got some space under your bed? Create a storage out of it! Got a space under your stairs, it’s a great location for your shoe rack and utility tools. Make those unused space useful for yourself. Create a storage out of them or better yet, buy something that fits to them.
