ACTIVERAIN CONTEST: Defining Gratitude and GOALS
Posted October 31st, 2014 by Celeste Cheeseman
November …. In the Fall Season, leaves change colors, Halloween just passed, a bit of cooler weather after a long heat wave so we put on that sweater in chilly evenings. One may also think of the Thanksgiving Feast and a Day of Gratitude.
LIAR LIAR ...Mr. Home Buyer!
Posted October 30th, 2014 by Celeste Cheeseman
Actually, this is about a Home Seller OR a Home Buyer, or anyone involved in a REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION but I needed a word to rhyme with LIAR…. LOL! LOL!
No matter what, all who are involved in a real estate transaction have responsibilities. In my book, there are two types of lying. 2) Changing information that is false and 2) Leaving out crucial information. Lying by Ommission.

PLAGIARISM….Are Those Words REALLY Yours???
Posted March 11th, 2014 by Celeste Cheeseman
The bottom line is this…IF YOU DID NOT WRITE IT…Don’t copy and paste it in your blog!!! Nothing is more profound than showing the entire world...who you are. We do this by writing about our local areas, our real estate industry/profession and even about the history of our neighborhoods.
"Spring Ideas for YOU and Your Business"--AN ACTIVERAIN CHALLENGE
Posted March 1st, 2014 by Celeste CheesemanSpring. During the Spring Season most all of us think about making way for the new. No matter if it’s Spring cleaning for the home or some type of change during the Spring, we are definitely looking for new ideas to improve ….something.
If you aren’t then consider this:
CHOICE OF WORDS Can Make ALL the Difference!
Posted January 12th, 2014 by Celeste CheesemanOne thing I have learned over the years is that ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN towards the end of the transaction. Lenders need last minute docs, escrow needs another payoff from Seller’s lenders, Lender needs to RE-CONFIRM buyer account or need another verification of employment.
I FINALLY MADE THE MILLION CLUB! WOOHOO!
Posted December 20th, 2013 by Celeste Cheeseman
I have to tell you that I am amazed that I FINALLY made it to the MILLION DOLLAR (Point) Club. I have been spending the last year enjoying my grandson in between work but it came at a cost. It took me LONGER to get here. But hey, family is the top priority for anyone’s life, right?

The “purpose” of the ActiveRain Meetup is to “connect with other members of ActiveRain”. It gives us a sense of meeting those members because most of the time we are connecting with others nationwide online.

The first thing I am going to implement into my Business Plan is to send out Holiday from Hawaii Cards. I know I won’t be able to send out to everyone but I am going to make it a goal to send out to past and present clients.
Cherishing the Time with Family on Thanksgiving
Posted November 28th, 2013 by Celeste Cheeseman
I just got off the phone with my daughter. She and her grandmother don’t get along in the kitchen. (no one gets along with my mom in the kitchen lol) Obviously, both want to take part in the Thanksgiving Dinner preparations and both don’t agree on how they can accomplish this feat....TOGETHER.
Rewind many years back.
Are the Eyes of Home Buyers and Sellers Wide Open?
Posted November 23rd, 2013 by Celeste CheesemanAs a Mililani/Central Oahu Real Estate Agent, I want to give my Home Sellers and Home Buyers SOUND advice. This means that I give my expert opinions and service in residential real estate transactions. It also means that I will protect your personal history and information that in no way pertain to the transaction.

BE REALISTIC With Your Listing and Offering Prices!!!
Posted November 10th, 2013 by Celeste CheesemanWhile inventory is slim pickings in Mililani Town, Ewa, Kapolei or ANY market on Oahu, there are multiple offers being had by every listing. The silliness is that the listing agents who are suggesting price ranges for any one property may be listing with prices in the norm of a slowly rising market, but then there are buyer’s agents who are suggesting to their buyers to put in offers 30k or more so that their contracts are accepted.
WHY DO THIS WHEN YOU KNOW IT MAY NOT APPRAISE?
REALIZING a Dream…Through Business Sense
Posted November 9th, 2013 by Celeste CheesemanWe may have clients that ‘come back’ to us to sell their home after originally purchasing their home through us. OR…We may have clients we never see or hear from again. Needless to say, there will be those that we make a lasting impression on, who not only purchase a home but refer other people to us.
A healthy business cycle.

A Little Act of Kindness….With No Strings Attached (ALOHA)
Posted October 18th, 2013 by Celeste Cheeseman
More often than not, I will extend a helping hand for someone who is in need. It doesn’t take a lot to show someone you care and the rewards can be quite exhilarating when you receive a thank you and a show of appreciation.
I will do a kind deed with Aloha. This means that when I do a little something for someone from the heart… I do not expect anything in return. It’s easier to feel no regrets or hold anything against someone. Give with ALOHA
Home is Where Our Hearts Are
Posted October 17th, 2013 by Celeste CheesemanI tell my clients that whatever house they choose to purchase, it is really up to them to make it their home. They usually ask:
What do I mean by making the house my home?
I tell them to look under the seller’s clutter (or stuff) and imagine the house is theirs. I ask them to make a list of each house we view with pertinent points to make the shell of a house their own personal comfortable home.
